My little tyke is 4.She turned 4 on the 4th of February. And many would say how did time flew by so fast? I myself do not have that answer. My little girl is all vocal and loud these days. Shes potty trained fully, chooses her own clothes, accessorised herslf with plenty of knick knacks before going out and thinks that being a princess is the best thing in the world. Such is the thinking of a 4 year old.
I still remember clearly how difficult it was to bring her into this world. The pregnancy itself went very very well. Its the giving birth part that is tedious. Though it was not a long one, Malik said that this was indeed my hardest. I nearly turned blue and they nearly did a caesor on me. But I did it eventually. Pushed all 3.1kg of her out. But I lost alot of blood and had a fever thenafter. Never felt this weak after a birth and was shivering like mad. The husband vowed that this would definately be our last. He could not bear to see me in pain no more. Such sweetness la my husband. Rarely show his emotions but when he does, I melt.
And so I hope she understands one day that her entering this world is one that me and her daddy will forever cherish that life is indeed so precious. And our wish is for her to be happy in whatever she does and make us her mummy and daddy proud. She’ll always be our beautiful baby girl no matter how old.

Like many I love to take pictures of food. Love to see the colours emerge and I just simply love to ogle at them. Most of my pictures are not taken professionally of course. Just by using my good ol Iphone with the help of instagram of course.
Here are pics taken during potluck session with my favourite chum mummies. As per every potluck session we always try to come up with a theme so it was easier to sort out the menu but we always come back to the same ones. Italian or English. One because it was easy to prepare and Two because the kids loved them. Roasted potatoes, pizza bread and spaghetti. Favourite choices always. You can never go wrong with them.

The next weekend we had another potluck session. This time a more trickier or rather a more mashed up theme. Meditarranean plus Indian plus Indonesian. Fushion much?

Oh and did I say we went British too? Scones and jelly galore awaits!

As many have heard our sante fe got crushed by a tree late last year. A terrible end to the new year. And because of that I for once believe that it was an awakening. A sign. Be it good or bad I just feel that I or we need to sort out our lives. Like many would say it is a dugaan from HIM.
Though we went through rough times, we always emerge stronger. That I always and shall believe. 2011 has been such a trying year for us and I do hope that 2012 would be kinder.

The last leg of our road trip. Kuala Lumpur, the city where food is never scarce. And when you’re here, you just want to try every single thing thats halal. Funnily enough we would always go back to the same old food that we usually eat when we’re here. The famous BB Chicken Rice and of course Tony Roma’s ribs. But not before checking in to our favourite hotel. The Westin Kuala Lumpur

As per every visit here, the club room with its gorgeous view was always our first choice. With free club access to their lounge, personalised and private check in and out, the place was god sent. A perfect place to just chill.

My favourite mall in KL? The massive Pavillion. You can just find about anything and everything here. Food’s not scarce too! The mall was all chrismassy when we were there. There was even a ‘bear’ exhibition. Enormous bears painted according to what each country represent. And its called the United Buddy Bears.

When shopping’s all done, we got distracted by Tony’s ribs. A perfect end to our week long road trip.
